Patience is a very important component of the 3-D work that I make. With the clay, if I am not able to wait for it to be at the right stage of drying then the whole piece could be ruined. The clay cracks the bonds break if I am too eager.
Being patient with the clay allows me to excersize my patience as a person and an artist. It also allows me to work out my ideas and let them evolve.
